During a conversation with a young man formerly treated in the New Directions program, the young man and his mother commented that he is now working full time and supporting his family. We asked his mother "where would he be if he never attended New Directions?" and her reply was "in jail". The young man commented that he never realized how much people have done for him in the New Directions Program and how those in the program should appreciate the dedication of the staff..
